We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Kerr Stone Services website. We are trusted stone masons based in Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. We have been delivering high-quality craftsmanship and heritage restoration since 1984. Jan Kerr, who brings over 40 years of expertise in traditional stone masonry, established the company. The team has built a solid reputation for excellence across the South West of England.

At Kerr Stone Services, we are passionate about preserving the architectural history of our region. Our team specialises in using traditional stone masonry techniques to restore and conserve buildings, from National Trust properties to historic churches, and private homes. Each project is handled with the utmost care, ensuring that the existing stonework and architecture are respected and maintained.

Kerr Stone Services offers a full range of stone restoration, conservation and traditional building services. Our highly skilled stone masons have extensive experience working on listed buildings, monuments, statues, walls, carvings and stone structures. We are proud to specialise in:

• Heritage stone restoration – from pointing with traditional lime mortar to shelter coating and lime renders, we ensure that all stonework is restored to its former glory.
• Repointing – we expertly repoint stone walls using traditional lime where cement has been inappropriately used, ensuring both structural integrity and historical accuracy.
• Stone walling and structures – our team is adept at building and repairing stone walls and other architectural stone features using the finest materials and techniques.
